The problem we are solving
Shared calendars are good at recording what is happening. Family App is being built to make responsibility equally clear: who is attending, who is handling drop-off, who is handling pickup, and whether each person has agreed.
The initial product is intentionally focused. It combines a chronological family agenda with explicit responsibility and confirmation. It does not try to replace every calendar, chat, or location product a family already uses.
How we make product decisions
We prefer understandable behavior, private family boundaries, durable confirmations, and honest system states. Features earn their place by reducing repeated coordination—not by making the app look busier.
