Invite an adult or join with a code

Send an invitation as the family owner

1. Open Family in the mobile app and choose + Invite.
2. Choose Generate invitation. The invitation adds an Adult member.
3. Share or copy the 12-character code and send it privately to the person you want to invite.

Each code expires after 48 hours and can be used once. The owner can revoke an unused invitation. Share the code when you create it; the original code cannot be retrieved later.

Accept an invitation

1. Sign in with your own adult account in the mobile app.
2. Complete email and phone verification if prompted.
3. On Set up your family, choose Join with a code.
4. Enter the full code, choose Accept invitation, and continue to your family.

The code is entered manually. Receiving it does not automatically add you to a family or install the app.

If the code is rejected

Do not post invitation codes publicly or send them with a support request.

• Check that you copied every character without extra spaces.
• Ask the owner whether the invitation has expired, been revoked, or already been used.
• Ask for a new code if the original is no longer valid.
• Use an adult email account. Child accounts use a separate setup process.
